Kurset er en overbygning på abdominal kirurgi I, men kan tages som selvstændigt kursus. Der fokuseres på mere avancerede procedurer som:

Guillaume Chanoit DVM MSc PhD DipECVS DipACVS MRCVS
I graduated from the Veterinary School of Toulouse (France) with a doctorate thesis (DEDV) in 1998. I completed a period of postgraduate training including an internship and surgical residency (specialty training) in 2003 at the Veterinary School of Lyon (France). I also gained a Master of Sciences in Microsurgery in 2000. Before moving to Bristol in 2011, where I’m currently Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery, I have held academic positions in France at the Veterinary School of Lyon (2003-2005) and in the USA (North Carolina State University, 2005-2010). I completed a PhD in Cardiovascular Physiology in 2010.
I’m currently member of the examination committee of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons and I’m also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Small Animal Practice. I lecture on various aspects of Veterinary Surgery across Europe and in the USA.
